Day 27 April 11, 2020 “Junkyard Dog”
This is a real life junkyard dog. He meant business too.
In the song by Jim Croce, Leroy Brown was, "meaner than a junkyard dog..." I have never seen a junkyard dog up close. While I was shooting these pictures today, 04-11-20, he popped out of nowhere with a viscously guttural bark. He would have attacked had the gate not stood between us.
This is the fence on the east side of the old Brown and Root complex off of Clinton Drive. I bet this fence is keeping some secrets in. Brown and Root was one of the prime contractors for building infrastructure in Vietnam during the war.
However, the story that its gates told today was: Houston is still closed. Come back later.
