Day 44 April 28, 2020 “Mural Park”

Today is the 44th Day of our ... I am not sure what to call it. Is it Stay-at-Home? Is it Quarantine?

This picture was taken at Houston's Mural Park also known as the Mural Building. This is a very popular location for pictures. Therefore I decided to change it up a little and make some of the image black and white. These pictures were taken on Sunday April 26, 2020 and not today, just in case you were asking.

I was thinking the other day, as business in Texas begin to open, that there are some businesses that did not survive. There are probably people who lost everything while the economy was on hiatus. It would seem that the government could have done something to assist these small businesses, the small mom and pop places that serve as a vision of the American Dream. You win some and you lose some but Wall Street always seems to win 'em all.

You always here local and state governments speak of a "Rainy Day Fund" which serves as a cache of emergency money when and if needed. Where is that money now? Where does all of that Lottery money go?

Whenever a billionaire wants a new stadium built for his team, why is it that we always find taxpayer money for those types of projects and purposes?
