50 Days of COVID 19 in Houston
I consider "Day 1" Monday, March 16, 2020. This is the day that restaurants and bars started closing. This is when people all over the country knew something was wrong. Their sense of normalcy was replaced but a sense of fear.
It is true that people were in panic mode before this, however Monday, March 16 was the last evening that bars and restaurants would be open for the "dine in" experience.
I spoke with several people who made a very good point, indicating that Day 1 for Houston was March 11, 2020 - the day the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo closed 8 days ahead of schedule. Please note that if I had started shooting pictures on that day, it very well may have been DAY 1.
What follows are photographs from the first 50 days of the COVID Pandemic Panic in Houston.
