Day 15 March 30, 2020 “One Day”
2102 South Street 77009
Two weeks in and I felt like reaching out to something I could not grasp and if I did, the glove would make me lose my grip.
It has been two weeks since I decided to create this blog. In the past 15 days I have been met with the challenge of shooting a picture which defines the day and the times. This one I think meets and supersedes that challenge, in my opinion.
Like most shots in this 2 week old blog, this was not planned. I wanted to get a shot from the Quitman Street bridge which spans I-45 North. However, there was a nasty fence in the way and no place to safely pull over. I took a right on a side street and found a great spot in the parking lot of the Baker-Ripley Leonel Castillo Community Center.
The glove was an afterthought. Later I will share how the glove came to be in the picture.
