Day 2 March 17, 2020 “Closed Until Further Notice”

I got there early this morning, thinking you might be open for breakfast at least. But no, HOUSTON, you were still CLOSED.

This was the original text for my Facebook post. I decided to personify the city for this series of photos. 

There was very little traffic on the drive in this morning. So, before pulling into the parking garage I decided to head over to "The Fence" to see what kind of pre-dawn picture I could get. The fog hanging over the skyline made for a very nice looking shot. Fog and rain are the photographer's best friend.

Then I went over to one of my favorite spots in front of St. Joseph's Church on Houston Ave. Here, the empty streets were more evident, see below.
