Day 7 March 22, 2020 “Let’s Go Krogering”

The parking lot at the HEB on Blackhawk and Beltway 8 is deserted now. Earlier today, Saturday March 21, 2020, it was filled with cars and panicked people. 

I had the desire to take the pictures earlier in the week but the rains from earlier in the day mixed with the night mist made this photo shoot irresistible. My first stop was the HEB. Then I decided to hit the Kroger on Sabo and Beltway 8. It too was somewhat deserted with only lonely shopping carts keeping the parking lot company. 

However, the big surprise was the AMC Gulf Pointe 30. I have never seen this parking lot empty at 8:30 PM on a Saturday night. Very eerie indeed.

What are people doing with all of this time on their hands and no place to go? Maybe we are getting to know our family members a little more? What about listening to the radio like your great grand-parents did before the advent of television?
